My good quality laminate kitchen worktop (countertop US) hangs over the end run of floor cabinet by 3 1/2 inches, it has already been jointed to another peice of worktop to make an L shape so cannot be removed for cutting. For the safety of children's heads and eyes and my hip I'd like to get rid of the corner. Is it still possible to cut the corner so that it is rounded, or is the only option to cut it off with a straight cut at 45 degrees.
Thanks Magicpie.
Your answer begs the question, will a cheapish router do the job and is it easy to do. I've never routed before.
Also thank you Vicky S fot your suggestions. I have enough edging strip so will be using that and a rounded edge will look sooo much better than the 45 degree cut, I'd tather do that
PS is there no better way of replying to Answers on here than using this edit feature?
