A joiner fitted a laminate floor for me and it bounces slightly in the middle. When I brought him back, he explained than the existing floor underneath isnt perfectly flat and that due to the fact he pressed it down around the edges before fitting the beading it is causing it to life very lightly.
If Im honest it isnt that bad but Im not sure if he is pulling the wool over my eyes. Is his reasoning plausible? or do you know whatelse could be causing it?
He did show me using a spirit level that the floor is humped slightly in the middle
