Recently I have had an escape of water from the radiator in my living room. This has damaged/ warped about 4 square metres of the laminate floor. I am expecting this to be replaced, however my laminate floor spreads into my hall and office without any threashold strips. My question is, should I ask them to replace the lot or are they within their rights to replace the living room and place a (not desired) threshold strip down.
I want to be prepared for when they turn up on Thursday, knowing my rights!
I have not claimed before and am with Halifax insurance UK.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
Ian
