I have recently got a new house. I am expecting a baby in 5 weeks time so am leaving everything as it is for now as all my money is going on the baby. In around 3/4 months though I am going to get flooring. I thought laminate would be better as I am having a child, it will be easier to clean. But I personally think carpet looks much more homely and will be more forgiving if my child takes a tumble as he is learning to walk etc? Any opinions would be great, thanks.
