Me and my fiancee are purchasing a house and this is the kitchen. Were a young couple and love the white high gloss kitchens but can't afford one. If I was to paint the cubboards & draws etc a very high gloss would it look okay?
Am thinking white gloss units, new wood worktop, maybe red mosaic tiles & new laminate flooring.
Save the £££ any advice besides chuck a grenade in there? we like the cooker & extractor and the handles are okay.
Theres also the living room. It has an old coal fire.

Don't get me wrong I love coal fires. My mams got one and the heat is unreal. However they not the nice of looking things. Any ideas of modernizing it?
