Having newly move into a property I have been sleeping on a mattress on the bare floor (currently no carpet or laminate). However, I've now found damp patches on the floor under the mattress (no, I don't wet my bed), creating mould. In your opinion, is this likely moisture from the bed user being being trapped under the mattress where there is no air, or a sign of dampness coming up from the floor also being trapped under the mattress.?
I'm buying a proper bed and currently deciding what to do with the floor.
Thanks in advance.
