 Attach felt protection pads to legs of furniture so that it doesn't scratch your laminate floor. Make sure that furniture and chair castors should are of the 'soft' castor type. Ensure heavy furniture is lifted not dragged when being moved as that may scratch your brand new laminate flooring. Never submit your laminate floor to wet cleaning - only use a damp cloth for stubborn marks and never use abrasive cleaning materials. If hoovering the floor, ensure that you use the 'hard surface' setting and attachments. Do not sand or wax laminate floors.

Awful vinegary cabbage smell in our living room?

We moved into a house about 5 months ago and quickly started to notice a faint cabbagy smell that some days, was really strong and some days went. It was only noticeable downstairs in our house in the living room and hall so we started closing the doors on an evening before bed and by morning it was clear that it was strongest in our living room.
