Please can somebody help me with 2 questions on laminate flooring
I am laying some laminate flooring upstairs in main hall area and most of the areas where the laminate edges is a loose edge and not wall or a skirting board e.g ends at top of stairs and at entrances to 2 rooms
I am worried that the laminate will move as it does not have enough solid edges to support itself and I have read how to install this groove laminate but it does not mention this issue
Also there will be a large uneven gradient's between the laminate level ( higher ) and the rooms it interfaces with which have carpet --what is the best things to use to have a smooth transition betweeen the 2 --also how can cover up the edge and make it safe to use where it meets the top of the stairs
Sorry for all the questions but as you can see I am a laminate floor novice Thankyou for your answers in advance
