 Some of the laminate flooring manufacturers are giving up to 25 or 30 year warranty for their product making it a very good option for places like kitchens or even bathrooms.
One thing to lookout is still water spillage on floor. Try to avoid leaving water on the floor for a long period of time - mop it up quickly as otherwise it might cause a permanent damage to your floor. Sometimes it's hard though to predict when your appliances will miss-behave, fridge freezer repairs might not be as costly as replacing whole kitchen floor. It's advised that flooring should be installed at the same time the kitchen fitters do their job. It's much easier to cut all corners and make it good if you do it all at once. If this is not possible then good laminate floor fitters will do the job as well. |
