I have just bought an attic flat. The building is around 190 years old and the floors are very uneven, only talking at the worst points an inch, but I want to put laminate down in the living room and tile the kitchen an bathroom, I don't just want to cowboy it up. Obviously with me asking this im not a joiner, so what should I use to sister, and how often, what spacing should I bolt on to the existing joists.
Any input would be greatly appreciated because I really don't fancy it at all.
woah, dude wi an attitude here. big hard man steven F, i,m guessing the F stands for f@nny. Do you want me to send you the home report? Obviously theres been movement at some point, I thought by adding that the building was 190 years old might have explained this. The building is sound, the floors are not.
