Wanna get laminate flooring for my lounge (Beech) but also want to get a darker laminate flooring for my kitchen (walnut). Is it weird to have two different types of flooring? My kitchen and my lounge are sort of connected... the reason for this is because I want to try and blend it properly with the furniture in each room. Eg - my kitchen has beech cupboards - so I want dark flooring and my lounge has walnut blinds and furniture hence the reason I want light flooring.
Many thanks
