I have a two year old male jack russel/patterdale terrier dog Bailey.
He is my first ever dog and i am a 22yr old female. I have had Bailey since he was 6 weeks old.
I have spent alot of time and energy training him, he has a dog flap and constant access to the garden but when i leave him alone he poos and wee's in the house.
I am guessing this is seperation anxiety but it is driving me insane!!
My boyfriend refuses to live with me because of him and i am he has spoilt my sofa and curtains.
I have to do a regular deep clean of the whole of my downstairs. He has acces to kitchen and front room and garden.
When i am at home he knows to go outside. He is very intellegent and is well trained otherwise.
I feel it may be a bit of a dominance issue also as he doesnt have good recall off the lead.
I dont really want to have to crate him when i leave but he has chewed up my expensive rug and ruined my laminate flooring.
I work part-time at the moment and i worry if i work any longer as i constantly come home to mess and piss.
Please help!! He gets a good walk a day, the most expensive dog food.
He always trys to sit on top of me and when i am on my phone he nudges it out of my hand, he never leaves my side and he finds it funny to grab something of mine and run off with it. He also runs upstairs and when i tell him to come down he makes me go upstairs before he will come down hes driving me up the wall, i am a young girl and i am having to revolve my life around my dog, but i love him so much hes my baby .
