i live down stairs , upstairs has been empty for a while but a young girl and her young child have now moved in ,,,
I can hear every footstep they make , i can hear the child jumping up and down constant noise , up and down the stairs ,
What can i do , i know that up stairs they have wooden/ laminate flooring .
Is their a law that their should be carpets fitted upstairs as this would make it less noisy and obsorb some of the noise .
Please help if this is the law i will certainly tell my landlord can some one provide a website or tell me if this is correct ,
please help thanks
