i have a hitachi 62vs69a and it is starting to get the notorious blue blob it starts at the top center. i have taken it apart a few times to clean filter and other parts on it i have taken the light engine/ optics unit apart and the polarizing plate for the blue lcd filter is overheating and i would like to replace the film or get a set of three new polarized plates for it and rebuild it the abnormal light damages the lcds. were might i get the proper film to re laminate these three plates or how would i go about getting these plates/ pbs? i dont want to buy a referb engine i know they are junk and. not worth the av $500.00. when i only payed $300 for the tv in working order a year before this started. i modified my current unit to flow over ten times the amount of air across the plates and its not distorting or bowing the screen and its at the same db level the tv was at before. that alone keeps it from happening for about an hour and a half. i just need to get the polarization plates. or film the blue one is usually the first 1 to go in this optics unit. is there a part number for these or can i get the film through NEC somehow. any resources or advice would be extremely helpful. thank you much, my name is Jesse
