I have a new cat, he is 3 years old and he is a long haired tabby.
We made a makeshift litter box because it was too late to get one at the time, but it wasn't deep enough, so he managed to get wee on the floor. (This was also the first time he had done his business since he came.) The floor is laminate, and I've tried Flash, vinegar, baking soda and diluted bleach.
He now has a proper litter box (hasn't been used yet). But the smell of wee is still there from the last time!
How can I get rid of the smell, it's awful!
Thank you for you help!
Yep he has been neutered! Maybe I'm just not used to the smell? I haven't had a cat in over 3 years.
I will just have to hope it goes away.
