I have an inward opening door to my bedroom and have carpeted floor on the inside and laminate on the outside. I would like to lock my door so no-one can get into it whilst I am out but can't screw into the door frame due to it being a rented property. Does anyone know a way that I can do this or at least have any ideas about prevention or ways I could tell if someone has been in my room?
