my castrated male cat has begun spraying 'wee' in one particular room in the house since we introduced another male cat - it really stinks and has affected a beautiful pine dresser and expensive rug - and also may even have seeped under some laminate flooring - how can we get rid of the pungent odour for good and also stop him doing it again, here or elsewhere? What products best for these surfaces? (I have tried a cat-repel spray called 'Get-Off' - but the spray gives my heart bad palpitations and makes my chest feel tight and does not seem to work anyway) - ideally need a safe permanent solution for getting rid of the smell and deterring from future spraying (without getting rid of the cats ideally!) - it is a nuisance but they are part of the family now)
