Hi, I gave my cat his first pippet dose on the back of his neck on new years eve as we discovered he had fleas. for the next 2 days we found the odd dead flea on the laminate floor and where he'd been sat (we have treated the house as well and will keep him topped up to keep them away in future). Not found anything for a couple of days but he is still itching alot. I'm worried he didn't absorb enough of the liquid onto his skin as he is long haired and a big cat and where I parted his fur there wasn't much skin showing so I'm worried it's been soaked up in his fur and not worked fully. Is it dangerous to give him another dose? or is it normal to still be itchy at this time? he refuses to go out in winter so this time of year he doesn't go out at all and is an indoor cat by his own choice so I was shocked he had fleas at all. He's pulled some fur out by his tail though so I'm worried he had alot and for how long! Any advice appreciated. I'd call the vet but they'd want to see him and he always has the runs when we take him, guaranteed so its not worth it til i find out more. Thanks
