im nearly 6 months pregnant and me and my partner have just bought a house. It was in a bit of a state too. we got the keys last Sat. any way he works shifts 5 days a week and I work 9-5 3 days a week plus look after my 3 year old on the days that Im off....anyway. I have painted and grouted the kitchen. glossed, painted and pulled the horrid carpet up in the dining room. painted my sons room and glossed it and pulled tht carpet up. glossed the stairs cleaned kitchen bathroom and all the paintwork. any way he kinda painted the Living room and slopped spilled it all over the laminate floor. paint all on the ceilings and skirting so had to neaten it up. then di another coat in there to make it look nice he rushed the painting in the spare room got it everywhere had to re paint it myself....Then I had to spend 2 hours scrubbing the laminate cos he didnt get up early enough to do it b 4 work.....his answer to not doing anything is that he is tired and allergic to dust..im pregnant!
oh and I bought him a dust mask!
Well thank you everyone so far....I took some of your advice.....I not done the bed room today slowed right down and hes gutted cos the carpet is meant to be layed on mon. ALSO I showed him this....he is a bit pissed off I put it on the net but I think he has realised how much.....I have done and he hasn't.....Came back with some roses and chocs awwwwwwww. said he is gona take his time and finish the rest tomo when he gets up. thank you again every one wish i could rate all of you. xx
