We live on end of terrace.
Our out side wall which has 2 bedrooms and one living room on the other side of it is freezing to the touch and even wet some days.
We have gas central heating, with rads in every room.
these rooms are always cold and we have duvets to sit under on an evening.
At its worsed the sofa has mould (green) growing under it and the cushions are damp to the touch under them.
I moved sofa next to rad to help warm it up and dry any dampness, when i moved it 4 weeks afterwards there was a heap of mould on the floor (laminate) and the rug that was partially there was disgusting, damp, green mould and black mould and it has even bleach the pattern in places.
Also in my hallway near front door i have just layed carpet tiles and the same thing is happening, fresh mould growing on them and up a wooden shoe rack to. The 2 bedrooms as yet are just plain freezing to live in, no mould found in them yet.
I have a big air vent in living room which lets in a vast amount of wind and cold.this was there when previous tenants had a gas fire.
Any ideas?
There are marks on the outside wall that would suggest wall insulation.
