Yesterday I was making chicken. I dropped a bit of raw chicken on the floor without noticing and stepped on it. Stupid I know but there you go. I realised this morning after noticing it in the grooves in my shoes.
I have laminate floors in my kitchen, livingroom and hallway. I swept the floor and washed it with double the recommended amount of disinfectant and a little bit of bleach. I've also cleaned the shoes with disinfectant and bleach.
I have an 11 month old baby in the house. Is there anything else I can do to ensure she doesn't get ill. She's walking and I don't want her to get ill from the raw meat.
Lissy it was RAW chicken and you can never be too careful.
I don't want her to get food poisoning.
Look, food poisoning in an adult is very serious and in an infant can cause death. I don't think I'm being obsessive. I want to protect my child which is natural.
If you can't answer the damn question then don't bother.
