The ceiling underneath the bathtub started cracking and leaking. In the bathroom there is no sealing between the tub, vertical surfaces and the laminated floor. There is between the tub and the wall but doesnt look perfect. We are clean people no more water gets out of the tub than in any other homes. The landlords 'expert' (his friend) says it is our neglegence that water got inbetween the surfaces though we use shower curtain. I am afraid he wants to do the ceiling underneath on our costs and also concerned he is going to do a much more extensive repair than necessary. Should i ask an other expert about the problem, should i contact the council? Or the agents?
The leaking and cracking is in my place as well first floor bathroom leaks in the ground floor kitchen.
