We live in Scotland (just outside Glasgow) where we have bought our flat. Two years ago we got new neighbours who have a young daughter who runs about a lot. The problem is they have laminated floors and the banging is terrible, unbearable at times. She stays up late and still is allowed to run about. As she gets bigger it only worsens. It is totally ruining our experience of living here. We have tried to talk to our neighbour but she only get defencive and emotional and it turns into an argument.
We are at the end of our tether. Their flat is a sub-let. After this weekend we will write a complain to their landlord and put in a complaint to environmental services so I'm looking for legal acts etc that will be able to help us.
