I live in a second floor apartment and the one above has wood laminate flooring. Not only is it noisy when walked upon, but it creaks too. It's driving us crazy and the owner has so far done nothing about it. Does anyone know if there are regulations covering the use of this type of flooring in an apartment other than on the ground floor?
