I live in a building recently converted into flats. The upstairs flat has laminate flooring, I live beneath it, and it's like living inside a drum.
The letting agency who manage the property on behalf of Imperial College London who own the building aren't interested. The laminate floors were laid during the conversion.
Are there UK building regulations/laws that deal with this? The local council do not deal with noise issues from laminate or wooden floors.
